A two-day congress opened today in Belgrade, during which doctors and medical workers from the region will have the opportunity to learn about the most modern solutions in the field of medical technology.
It is the first congress organized by the company “Medical Innovation Solutions”, which is considered the leader of innovations in the field of medicine in Southeast Europe, and according to the sales director of that company, Miloš Banić, more than 250 registered participants are expected at the meeting.
“We cover a large market and the main idea of this congress was to gather all doctors from this region and managers who deal with medical equipment to show what our goal is, which is the most inventive and latest technology in medicine that gives both doctors and patients the opportunity to solve health problems in the best possible way in the shortest period of time,” Banić told Tanjug.
During the congress, regional experts will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the products of the partner company “Medical Innovation Solutions”, as well as to try out the devices live and receive answers to all questions from experts on the spot.
Among them is the Versius endoscopic robot, from the British manufacturer CMR, which represents a completely robotic system for all applications in minimally invasive, endoscopic procedures.
“Each segment of this congress is something innovative, and something that is the latest and that appears for the first time in our country and in this region, is the robotics produced by the English company CMR, which is currently the world leader in robotics related to abdominal surgery. colorectal surgery, urology, gynecology, thoracic surgery…”, said Banić and added that it is now also available to our doctors.
He stated that more than 250 registered participants are expected at the congress and added that today there were over 45 doctors from Romania alone.
“Our target group is people who are already seriously involved in this type of medicine so that they can, as an upgrade, enable themselves to work on these types of devices as well,” said Banić and added that the idea is to organize such gatherings every year.
